Make sure everything is completely dry before covering them and sending them to storage. Once your furniture is cleaned and dry, consider vacuum sealing the cushions and covering up metals or woods with a tarp or breathable cloth. - Lawn equipment: You can store lawn equipment if it’s prepared correctly. First, clean everything and make sure it’s in good shape. - Toys: Summer toys can take up a lot of room. Pool toys, kayaks, tubes, camping gear, bicycles, and more can be easily stored in a unit all winter. Keep them off your property and out of site for not just a clutter-free yard, but also to keep everything protected from the elements. Larger summer toys like ATVs, jet skis, and boats are also commonly stored at a facility.
